Funding Opportunities
Phoenix House wants to give back to the community
by creating a mentorship program for students attending Colleges and Universities that need an organization to complete their
internship and/or gain professional experience working with veteran. The program will allow students to
work first hand with professionals in their field of work to ensure the success of each student that attends our program.
Transportation
Phoenix House is creating a transportation fund to provide airfare
or bus fare at no cost to the veterans. These funds will be used to transport veterans to any transitional facility that has
an opening whether in another state or within the Washington Metropolitan area.
Day Care/Early Learning
Phoenix House Day Care/Early Learning Fund will ensure that the
children of the veterans are well care for and provide tutoring and mentoring for children over the age of five years old.
Building Fund
Phoenix House Building Fund is to acquire
new property to expand living facilities for more veterans and decrease the number of homeless veterans on the street.
Housing
Phoenix House Housing Fund is for veterans who need immediate housing while waiting for the
appropriate paperwork goes through the process.
General Donations
Phoenix House General Donation Fund is to supplement
programs, activities for the veterans, building maintenance, operational costs.
